GOLDIKOVA TOPS 17 IN MAROIS

Goldikova could face up to 16 rivals in Monday's Group 1 Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville.

Freddie Head's wonder mare won the race in 2009 but suffered a surprise reversal to 2000 Guineas winner Makfi 12 months ago.

She looks set to be joined in the line-up by her normal pacemaker, and fellow Wertheimer-owned, Flash Dance, whilst stablemate Rajsaman, last seen finishing last of four in the Sussex Stakes, is also entered.

The Khalid Abdullah-owned pair of Cityscape and Mutual Trust are amongst the entries, along with a Godolphin trio led by Delegator and Juddmonte International entry Rio De La Plata.

Richard Hannon's Prix Jean Prat winner Dick Turpin is on target for a return to France, whilst Sahpresa, Tin Horse and Planteur could form a strong home challenge.

Royal Bench and Worthadd complete the 17 six-day entries.
