Edward Lynam reports Sole Power in rude health ahead of the defence of his crown in the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York on Friday week.
The County Meath trainer was not disappointed by his sprinter's defeat at Tipperary last week, as he had been beaten in the same Listed race 12 months ago.
He went on to spring a 100-1 surprise in the Group One dash on the Knavesmire, and Lynam is expecting another Herculean effort from his four-year-old.
"He's flying and in good order. We're all set for next week in York," he said.
"He doesn't win in Tipperary for some reason, but he ran fine.
"There are lots of speedy horses in there so the draw will probably be important."
