Frederick Engels and Lilbourne Lad could clash again in the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Gimcrack Stakes at York next Friday.
The duo were in action last Sunday in the Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh, in which Frederick Engels was an unlucky sixth and Lilbourne Lad fourth.
Richard Hannon, trainer of the latter, could also be represented by Crown Dependency, fourth in the Molecomb on his most recent outing.
Burwaaz finished runner-up in that Goodwood heat and could fly the flag for Ed Dunlop.
B Fifty Two ran a blinder in France last weekend and is also one of 20 confirmations for the Group Two assignment over six furlongs.
Aidan O'Brien has left in Reply and Boris Grigoriev, but has taken out Phoenix Stakes runner-up Power.
Barry Hills could also be double-handed with Red Art and the unbeaten West Leake Diman, while Brian Meehan has confirmed Diamondhead and Gerfalcon.
William Haggas, who won the Gimcrack last year with Approve, is likely to rely on Justineo, an accomplished winner at Newmarket last month.
