Alan Berry was singing the praises of apprentice Julie Burke after the 5lb claimer steered Red Roar to victory at Beverley.
Favourite-backers were also in good voice after the 6-4 shot registered her third course-and-distance success in the Bullet Day Is On 27 August Fillies' Handicap.
Burke galvanised the four-year-old to put down a strong challenge to Cool In The Shade in the final furlong, and Red Roar responded in game fashion to gain a length verdict.
"She was a bit unlucky behind Caranbola last time," said Cockerham-based trainer Berry.
"She got stuck with nowhere to go, but she seems to like it here.
"Everything was in her favour, but she was given a very cool ride.
"Julie is an absolutely cracking lass and has ridden quite a few winners for me.
"She's really good value for her 5lb claim."
Loyal Master (9-1) has taken a quick liking for the East Yorkshire venue and the two-year-old made it two wins on the Westwood from as many starts.
Winner of a maiden in June, he struck again in the Racing UK On Sky 432 Nursery, on what was his fifth career outing.
Lee Newman always had George Foster's youngster handy in second place from his inside stall two draw and quickened into the lead two furlongs out to beat Nameitwhatyoulike by a length and a half.
"He won here a couple of months ago despite the fast ground and we know he goes better with a bit of cut in the ground," said Foster.
"This has been the plan for the last five weeks, but he'll be a really nice horse over a mile and a quarter, or even a mile and a half."
In-form Robert Winston followed up his four-timer at the track on Wednesday with a hard-fought victory on 6-1 chance Beat The Shower in the beverley-racecourse.co.uk Handicap.
Peter Niven's charge relished the conditions and benefited from a confident ride by Winston to foil the favourite Neptune Equester by half a length.
"I told Robert to ride him like a three-mile chaser in the first mile and a half and he did just that," said Niven.
"He got him switched off as he's a confidence horse. They went too quick but he travelled well all the way.
"There's maybe a race at Thirsk at the end of the month, but he'll go up in the handicap a fair bit for that."
The Geoff Oldroyd-trained True Bond came with a rattling run in the centre of the course to open her account in the EBF Beverley Annual Badgeholders Maiden Fillies Stakes.
The 16-1 shot knuckled down well to get home by a head in the hands of 3lb claimer Dale Swift from newcomer First Phase.
Co-owner and breeder Reg Bond said: "It's great news again for the stud as she's another home-bred filly that's won for us.
"It's amazing, really, how so many of our horses look like her father (Monsieur Bond).
"We felt the ground was perfect for her and thought the trip would be ideal, too."
Owner-trainer Mike Sowersby got a quick return after buying Ocean Bluff (9-1) out of Tommy Stack's stable in Ireland when the filly trotted up in the Hold Your Christmas Party Here Selling Handicap.
Despite failing to make the frame in eight previous starts, she blow the opposition away in the final furlong, scoring by six lengths from Lakeman in the hands of James Sullivan.
"I'm just as shocked as the rest of the world," said Sowersby.
"I bought her at the Doncaster sales six days ago and I've done nothing with her at home.
"It' my second winner at Beverley, but I honestly can't remember the last time I had a winner on the Flat."
Edas (15-2) won division one of the White Rose Saddlery Chris Hoggard Memorial Handicap for Cumbrian trainer Thomas Cuthbert, while veteran handler Owen Brennan struck with 33-1 shot Freda's Rose in division two.
