This afternoon's meeting at Beverley goes ahead as scheduled following a second inspection at 9am.
Course officials required a second assessment this morning after a 7.30am check proved inconclusive because of further morning rain.
There has, however, been a marginal improvement in conditions, with the going currently soft, heavy in places.
Beverley general manager Sally Iggulden said: "There has been no rain since 7.30am and it's fairly bright.
"There's still a chance of a few showers, but it's perfectly raceable at the moment
"There's no further inspections planned, but we will continue to monitor conditions."
